Life On The Water

A water based recreation, tourism and maritime activity specialist service with 20 years of management experience and most of a life time on the water.  We have a detailed understanding of port and waterway users and the areas they are passionate about.

Nobody knows all the answers, but we are efficient in developing the right questions and asking the appropriate people.
Life On The Water provides  a unique perspective- built on long term community consultation, working with peak bodies, interaction with commercial operations, a generation of recreational and commercial boating and ongoing input into government legislation, policy and programs. We have a practical perspective on marine infrastructure provision and performance.
Our focus has always been practical coastal, maritime, waterways problems solving and an informed risk management approach.

Opening Hours

Being very familiar with a site or  patterns of use and getting on site with the users and stake holders in a practical, and  unobtrusive way is very important to us.  We are happy to work weekends, public holidays and late into the evening!
The main game is understanding your area when it is quiet, experiencing normal and elevated use.

We shift operations to our Greek Office in the Mediterranean during a few of the cooler Victorian months but are fully contactable and often use the time to complete the 'heavy lifting' components of projects. Being based in the one of the busiest waterways in the world provides insights not available in Australia.

Getting in touch with the community

Need an independent facilitator that's enthusiastic, engaging and can relate to the regular (and weird)  subcultures that frequent your localities?
We can sort the logistics, organise agendas and guests, run one or a series of sessions, get the note written up and present them digitally or in hard copy without fuss.
